What a great post, Sarah, especially since I'm in the middle of following my own voice on a journey to a psychology conference. Not sure what I'll find, but I'm certain whatever it is will be good. I hope you discover more of the same as you settle into your new city. :)

Writing My Way Into Living's avatar

I need to return to meditation. But my “voice” is hard to sort from poor impulse control!

I can so understand! What I’m about to write is something I also need to remember: See if you can notice your impulses—even as you follow them. It’s not easy, but it’s a way to bring mindfulness into impulsivity. Let me know how it goes!

Love this post Sarah! Eckhart Tolle is a kind of a mentor to me. I love that quote. What a good reminder that we are not, despite what we might think, completely in control of life. I need to move again and am feeling anxious and uncertain about this and other things, all at once! I have heard that voice throughout my life and need to tune in again and regularly for guidance. Thank you. :D

Thank you, Chrystle. Moving really *is* one of the most stressful life events, so try to give yourself some compassion. ❤️
